Shenmue II works now XBOX 360

While researching some China related stuff i remembered the game Shenmue II originally released for Sega Dreamcast, later ported to XBOX. It was one of the better Dreamcast games and is in the Guiness book of World Records as the most expensive videogame.
Well, will reading some info about this game I found a note telling it works now on XBOX 360 via emulator :)
Hehe, will test it in a few minutes :-D

PS: Conker Live & Reloaded works now on the XBOX 360 aswell. Since December 2006... ;-)

Google maps zoom rocks ;)

Ok, this headline sucks, I know. But seriously: Have you guys heard about the google maps zoom 'hack'?
Well to make it short: It is possible to get a better zoom level than the one you can adjust by using the zoombar. The maximum zoom level you can get without our little trick is 19. The picture you see below has zoom level 23.
But how to get this?

1. Go to your location of choice.
2. Then click on 'link to this page'
3. Your browsers address bar should show now an URL with many variables
4. Within this URL is a tiny "z=XX" area
5. Now change this XX (normally 19 in biggest zoom mode) to 20, 21 or something like that.
6. You will see, you get a much closer look.
7. Et voila, your done :)

Another shadowplay performance

I'm pretty sure you've seen the Matrix Ping Pong video which went through the net a few years ago (If you hadn't, click here). Well seems like these Japanese guys created a new show. Take a look:

Canon EOS 400D commercial

Yesterday I went to a movietheater to watch Spider-Man 3. But before the film started there was a commercial spot for the Canon EOS 400D. I never saw it before and really liked it. For all the guys who haven't seen it, take a look a few line below ;)

Longhorn Server Beta 3 released

A few days ago Microsoft released the third beta of its Windows Server 2003 successor.
You can download the beta here and luckily it runs under Virtual Server 2005 R2 so no need to setup a whole new maschine. I gave the Windows Server - Project"Longhorn" 1.5 GB RAM in VS2005R2 and it runs really smoothly.

Some of the new features include the now called Powershell, a new command line prompt and the Windows Vista like possibility to search trough every folder and menu.
This and the MMC 3.0 are really nice to work with. So enjoy the beta :)

PS: The final is not expected before 2008 so you have plenty of time for testing.

Right now I'm having here a great time in Switzerland. Besides Chocolate we had many other good impressions about the swiss way of life too.
Fortunatelay we had much time and beautiful weather here and made (IMHO) great pictures in the forests ^^
